How a hearing aid home trial works

A clinic is a controlled room. Your life is not. A home trial lets you hear the doorbell, a grandchild, a scooter, and a TV serial in the mix you actually live with. That is the only fair test of whether a pair is worth buying.

We fit after an audiogram, programme the devices to your loss, and send you home with a simple care routine. You are not ‘borrowing a gadget’; you are evaluating a medical fit.

Wear the aids most of the waking day, even in quiet. The brain needs hours, not ten minutes in a cabin. Note three moments that felt better and three that still felt hard — a temple, a market, a phone call. Bring those notes to the follow-up.

If something hurts, whistles, or feels too loud, contact us. Fine-tuning is normal. Pushing through pain is not.
